The article studies polymer composites modified with carbon nanotubes. Composites modified with carbon nanotubes can be used as heaters having the effect of temperature selfregulation. The scope of such heaters may be related to the technologies of heat-ventilation equipment and infrared heaters. To study the distribution of the temperature field on the surface of the heaters, the method of non-contact measurement was used, which is implemented in a thermal imager. Studies of heat release in functional materials modified with carbon nanotubes based on polymers under conditions of convective heat transfer have been carried out. Changing the blowing mode of the heater was carried out by changing the level of the supply voltage of the fan in the range from 5 to 15 V. It was found that the change in the current strength in the heater with an increase in the blowing speed varies in the range from 0.04 to 0.14 A at a supply voltage of the heater equal to 100 V.
