RESEARCH OF SOUND RADIATION OF CONTACT CONNECTIONS OF SUBSTATION SWITCHING DEVICES

The reliability of contact connections in electrical distribution networks is essential. Accidents caused by poor contact usually lead to a power outage and a shortage of electricity to the consumer. The main reason for the breakdown of contact is the increased oxidizability of the metal, as well as the effect of external factors on it with the formation of non-conductive films. It was found that with a decrease in the contact area of contact joints, partial discharges and other spark discharges emitting acoustic vibrations arise. The article is devoted to the research of contact connections of 6-10 kV switchgears. An algorithm for collecting and processing information is described. The application of the method of obtaining acoustic data from contact connections using the developed prototype of the acoustic sensor is shown. The analysis of the obtained data was carried out by subsequent transformation and spectral analysis.
